Research on the Issues for implementation BIM to Landscape Architecture

要旨／Abstract
Digital construction is a process of improving construction project by using digital tools. Among them, Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a digital representation of physical and functional characteristics of a facility.
BIM introduction is also progressing slowly in Landscape Architecture. However, the use of materials that grow and change is a major difference and an impediment to progress.
In Japan, BIM/CIM for infrastructure will be introduced to construction projects starting in 2023 by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure Transport and Tourism. However, there is no content related to the field of Landscape Architecture.
The purpose of this research is to contribute to the introduction of BIM in the Landscape Architecture. First, we organized the merits and ideas of introducing BIM, and investigated the information and data necessary to create BIM model for Landscape Architecture.
